Event Details
A very relaxed way to spend an hour or two on a Sunday evening. Bring a cushion and join us on the floor of the relaxation room at The Happy Cell Centre (Home usually to classes of Yoga, Tai Chi and Massage Therapy amongst other things). There's a live performance of Indian classical Carnatic music on the bamboo flute accompanied by the Indian tabla drums. Lucy Hudson plays flute in the South Indian style and Marc Clayton plays tabla in the North Indian style. Both have studied the compositions of these disciplines and have created a set which combines elements from both. It will be a small gathering so numbers will be limited. There will be chai and Indian snacks on offer too.
